1. Service Description
The online valuation service provides an estimated market value for recreational boats and yachts up to 24 meters, based on:
Information supplied by the client
Publicly available sales data
Market comparables
Depreciation models
Expert assessment by a certified Naval Architect and Marine Engineer
This service does not include a physical inspection of the vessel.
2. Limitations of Online Valuations
Because the vessel is not inspected in person:
Hidden defects, structural issues, undocumented repairs, or incorrect information cannot be detected.
The valuation is considered an estimate, not a complete marine survey.
The accuracy depends on the quality and truthfulness of the data provided by the client
The provider is not responsible for missing, inaccurate, or misleading information supplied by the client.
3. Delivery Time
The initial online valuation result is delivered within 48 hours after payment and data submission.
The 48-hour delivery does not include the COIN official registration time, which may require additional processing days.
4. COIN Certification & Registration
All valuation reports certified by a Naval Architect include:
Registration in the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Navales y Oceánicos (COIN)
A unique registry number
Timestamped digital signature
Engineer identity verification
The final certified PDF is issued after COIN completes the registry process.
5. Final Report Delivery
The client will receive two documents:
a) Initial Valuation Summary (within 48 hours)
Non-certified, provided for review.
b) Certified COIN Valuation Report (PDF)
Sent electronically after:
COIN registry is completed.
A digital signature is applied.
Timestamp and verification seal are generated.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client guarantees that all provided information (specifications, engine hours, equipment lists, photographs, documentation) is:
Accurate.
Complete.
Truthful.
Incorrect information may affect the valuation result.
7. Use of the Valuation Report
The certified valuation report may be used for:
Insurance
Private sale negotiations
Brokerage transactions
Documentation updates
Financing or refinancing justification
Personal knowledge of vessel value
It may not be used as a full pre-purchase survey.
8. Refund Policy
Due to the professional nature of the service:
All valuations are non-refundable once work begins.
If the client fails to provide the required data, delivery may be delayed.
No refunds will be issued due to incomplete client information.
9. Liability Limitation
The provider shall not be liable for:
Hidden structural or mechanical defects
Market fluctuations
Incorrect data supplied by the client
Pricing changes after the valuation date
Damages resulting from the use of the valuation for purposes beyond its intended scope
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the valuation service.
10. Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by:
Spanish law
EU consumer protection directives
Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Valencia, Spain.
